#3 Define and Describe

Anderson, Laurie Halse, Annie Young, and Jessica Sharzer. Speak. New York, Fred Berner Films, 2003 Print.
The Theme Of Rebellion
My Definition of Rebellion is, fighting against something you don't like or something that is wrong and you believe it should be right. The term Rebelling means to Rebel against something (a law or rule) because you feel you're going to Rebel until the person or thing will let you have you're way and what you want from them. In a lot of cases you see rebellion in developing countries on the news because they want more freedom or a better government that will give them happiness and the rights that they ask for.
Signs of Rebellion in my book are huge because the main character is really Rebellious in many different ways. She is fighting through her first year of highschool by herself because all of her friends wont talk to her and she doesnt know why. She disagrees with all of her teachers methods and opinions and its clear she dislikes school a lot. She hides in an abandon janitors closet during assemblies and school events. She steals all of the late passes off of her teachers desks when nobody is in the room. It seems as if she hates everyone in her life and complains about everything. She has a bad attitude and does not want to take part in any school club or clan.
